Use it sparingly
You could use chrome all over your staircase, but it might be overkill. Unless your house is decorated and furnished to fit in, it might look a bit out of place. The best technique is to use it sparingly, just as a finishing touch perhaps. You can use it in end caps, spindles, brackets or handrails and it goes well with several other materials.
Combine it with wood
