Here’s a summary of the steps of the process so that you can understand what needs to be done:

1. 1. Measure your staircase
2. 2. Trim your newel posts to the correct height
3. 3. Drill in newel bases to the base rail
4. 4. Install the newel posts
5. 5. Install glass brackets & secure the glass brackets
6. 6. Install the handrails & fit to the newel posts
7. 7. Place the glass panels in position and secure to the brackets

As with any glass panels, you should never use abrasive materials or chemicals to wipe dirt, smudges, or fingertips from the glass. Instead, we recommend using a specific glass cleaning cloth to protect the glass from scratches. If you don’t have one available, a soft wipe with a damp cloth can also do the trick.

By maintaining your fusion glass balustrade in the correct way, you can extend its life significantly. This means that it can often last a lifetime without the need for replacement or repairs.
